Our Invoicing ::

At Dort Patent, we realize that the bills that you receive from law firm are often confusing and frustrating.  Dort Patent prides itself on a simplified billing system in which "charges" for internal costs simply do not appear. Our billing structure is flexible to meet your needs.  Many of our clients choose to be invoiced on a monthly basis , but many choose our "project" based invoicing option, in which clients are given invoices when a project (or clearly identifiable portion) is completed or filed.  We also provide a "firm bid" invoicing option which allows you to keep tight control of your IP budget.  After all, if your R&D department has to stick to a budget, we should have to also.  Intellectual property law is our business, and as a business we hold ourselves to the highest customer service standards. Under special circumstances, Dort Patent may provide legal services on a revolving credit (terms) or risk-sharing (contingency) basis. We also provide discounts for pre-paid and electronically paid invoices which reflect our savings and reduced transaction costs.
